If you’re an organisation working on the front line, you’ve seen the impact of digital exclusion up close. There are too many that are struggling, and the gap in digital skills is getting wider.
We know that helping people to become digitally included will bring wider social benefits. Improved digital skills help people be better informed, pay less for things, be more employable, feel more independent, be less isolated, and live better, easier, longer lives.
We want everyone to: understand how digital would benefit them; be able to gain the skills they need to make the most of digital; and get connected.
We can’t do this alone: we need your help to fight the digital divide.
It’s always been part of the fabric of Leeds that we club together to look out for each other’s wellbeing. Organisations, charities, groups, businesses, one-man bands, community groups – it is our mission to bring them all together and form a support network that everyone in Leeds can benefit from, working to make sure that everyone in the city has the digital skills they need, and nobody is left behind.
This is a call-to-arms for everyone working with Leeds residents – Join the 100% Digital Leeds movement.
We’re launching three 100% Digital Leeds local networks, inviting local organisations to come together to fight the divide.
We’re looking for organisations who understand the challenges local residents face. Those work to break down barriers and make sure nobody is left behind.
Come together to share problems, share ideas, and work together towards a 100% Digital Leeds.
