As part of our mission to ensure that everyone can benefit from digital, Leeds City Council and the Good Things Foundation are looking for organisations who want to join our movement to drive social change by helping people to improve their skills and confidence so they can thrive in a digital world.

The Online Centres Network is made up of thousands of grassroots organisations all working to tackle digital and social exclusion by providing people with the skills and confidence they need to access digital technology.

Online Centre members can access funding opportunities, free training, and the Learn My Way eLearning Package.

What you need to know:

No cost, lots of benefits.

The Network is free to join and there are many benefits to being a member, including access to funding opportunities, training and support, and resources such as targeted marketing.  Find out about more at the Online Centres Network website.

You can join the movement at any time, but for those of you who are quick off the mark, there are a limited number of activation grants that you can apply for until 30th September 2018.

Put your organisation on the map.

Your organisation will also be featured on an interactive map, helping new learners find their way to you. Digital Champions will use this tool to sign-post people to digital support.

You don’t have to offer digital support.

Online Centres don’t have to be places people can visit to take a computer class. If you can provide a welcoming space for your community members and a supportive environment for them to take their first steps towards a life online, we would love you to join us.

It’s not all about digital.

Online Centres also have access to resources to support their service users with other essential life skills like employabilityESOL, and managing money.
